Carpentry classBASIC provides learning and hands-on opportunities for building things through community service opportunities. Practice carpentry and woodworking skills in a open and encouraging environment while building friendships.  If you love carpentry, share that love!  You can help reposition and elevate the status of carpentry as a desired career path for the next generation.

Our activities include:

  • Learning to create, market and sell products to the public
  • Volunteering for Habitat for Humanity and community clean-up
  • Outreach to local Hawaii high schools to encourage youth to explore and consider a career in carpentry

Still not convinced?

We encourage everyone to join us on any of our activities whether or not you are an official member. Or contact any one of our BASIC Officers and we can sit over coffee to discuss if the club can benefit you!
