Nothing tells a story better than actual images. I was a part of the Carpentry Technology Class of 2016. The program is unique in that we go through the program as a cohort–a single group of students. While most collegiate experiences include attending different classes with hundreds of different classmates over many semesters, the Carpentry Tech Program at Honolulu Community College allows students to develop close bonds, learn how to efficiently work as a team and grow together over four semesters. Each cohort is different in personality and mix. I can only speak for my own, but our class was an amazing group. Below is a video of our two years compacted into 14 minutes which not only shows all of the carpentry tasks we learned, but the camaraderie that developed.
